BLUAI is back with an empowering new single. Just a year after their first EP Junkyard, the band announces its anticipated debut album, due in the spring of 2024 on independent label Unday Records. Their music floats between smooth indie pop, indie folk, and edgy 90s guitars, drenched in the hopeful melancholy of broken hearts, road trips, break-ups, and casual crushes.

My Kinda Woman follows the first single In Over My Head, the song that marked the band's journey toward their debut album as they dominated the airwaves throughout the summer. The inspiration for My Kinda Woman stemmed from Catherine's dissatisfaction with her own critical self-perceptions. Recognizing the common struggle among young women with negative self-images, she aimed to craft a song that not only acknowledged but celebrated these self-proclaimed 'shortcomings'.
